The place you hold your event at can be crucial to its success. It must be suitable for the size and style of your event, easy for your guests to access and most importantly, have a great ambiance.


Sassy Bites can cater for you at any location we can get to, whether this is in your own home, accommodation, or at any venue allowing external caterers. I’m based in and around Daylesford in central Victoria and work mainly with local visitors to the area who are looking to organise something special during their stay. I can help your find a beautiful venue too – just ask!

I can come and assist you with getting your venue ready, and also to prepare and platter up, and help serve the food. My standard charge for this is $75 per hour (minimum 4 hour call-out). I can also provide additional waitstaff for larger groups.

I’m happy to work out a complete ‘drop-off’ menu with you with everything you need just to heat, arrange and serve, to ensure you are free to actually enjoy your event.


Sassy Bites is a small local business, offering intimate cocktail gatherings up to 20 guests. We have a small team of friendly, experienced food waiters who will ensure all your guests are treated as VIPs.

Unless otherwise arranged, Sal (chef) will be onsite to prep, serve food for the duration of food service, and pack and clean up. A food waiter will be added for groups of more than 12 guests, or if you’d like a drinks waiter.

  • up to 12 guests: 1 x chef onsite to prep and serve food (additional food waiter optional)
  • 13-20 guests: 1 x chef onsite + 1 x food waiter
  • chef onsite: *$75/hr of part thereof (min. 4hr call-out)
  • food waiter: *$45/hr or part thereof (min. 3hr call-out)
  • drinks waiter: *$45/hr or part thereof (min. 3hr call-out)

As a standard, my waiters wear smart-casual all-black/black & white, and black aprons.

Alternatively, depending on the occasion or atmosphere you’d like to create, you may like to engage some of your friends or family to help serve the food, which is a nice personal option.
